this, is a monitor lizard. it typically avoids confrontation and seeks flight. it will bite only when maintained or handled in an inappropriate manner. it poses relatively little threat to humans. it hunts small animals as potential prey.
and this,
is a komodo dragon. it belongs to the group of lizards and is the largest living species of lizards in the world. it hunts by bringing down its prey shortly with a deadly bacteria in its mouth. it is a swift runner and climber with great appetites for deers, goats, water buffalos, wild boar and even smaller dragons. occasionally it has been known to eat humans and human corpses.

i dun care if its as harmless as a cat or wateva. when i saw it, i was rooted to the spot for about two seconds before totally fleeing for my life like some crazy woman. the pic above is of course not the original pic (i was obviously. unlike someone,
so not gonna stand around looking for my camera jst to take a pic of it) i had taken it off the web but it looks
exactly like d one i saw. it even has d same pose. plus dat pic was also taken in malaysia.
before seeing dat adorable monster, i had also spotted big turtles in the river nearby a few months ago.
turtles, i can totally handle. theyre cute! they were sunbathing on a jutted-out log while the river was jst flowing by all around them. i got kinda excited haha. turtles make me excited. yea.
btw my coll is not in like some ulu jungle place where there seem to be wildlife all around. i mean these 2 r d onlee wild things i haf seen so far ok.
neway the sunbathing thing reminded me so much of the time i had the pool for my two turtles and when they wld sunbathe in the hot afternoons.
haha my drawing sucks. the chair is actually much bigger n both bee n pee can fit on it comfortably. so during the afternoons they wld actually climb up on it n jst laze around there. theyre
so adorable! even my maid n lil bro liked to watch them sunbathing but u haf to do it secretly cos if they notice u wathing them, theyd jump into d water straight away n hide under d chair. i neva got to take any pictures tho, i din even haf d chance to becos my dad had been determined to throw all the water away to avoid aedes mosquitoes breeding. and he did it secretly so i couldnt even protest n bcos he jst dumped my turtles back into d old tank, which was already too small to fit both of dem, one of dem climbed out, crawled out d kitchen door n disappeared forever.
just like that.
i dun think i can even describe how it felt. he claimed he was a hero bcos he saved the whole family from dying of denggi. its like someone stabbing ur kid with a knife den telling you "oh im saving ur life so thank me." he doesnt even feel a teeny bit of guilt or remorse for d consequences of his actions. if i were a 6 yr old kid id prob believe rite then n there dat my father was lex luthor in disguise. and obviously ive tot of a possible way for d aedes mosquito not to breed in my turtle pool and im sure its 100% effective but no, he jst had to torture lives littler than his so dat he can feel like a 'hero'.
i think ive posted abt this b4, but nvmla. its good to remind myself how ive survived with a parent like dat :)
so dat was the first to go. in the last six months all my pets / half-pets have gone one by one. after pee it was mrs hamsta who departed with a flu. i noe flu is like, a cold, but for littler animals like hamsters it kills them i guess. it was even more sadder bcos d nite b4 we had rushed with my siblings to veterinarians n even shared to buy all the medicines but it died early d next morning. we had a burial ceremony for it in d garden.
mr hamsta died of chocolates. haih i wasnt at home when it happened so its even sadder.
i loved them lots n lots n lots. even tho they were not mine nor any of ours actually but they were jst. so. adorable. i haf videos of them in my handphone but, well my handphone is practically useless bcos it cant transfer anything to anything, so.
i actually like them as much as i like dogs. maybe a little more bcos they're more keepable.
so then there was onlee bee left in my house. n he was growing bigger n had no freedom in the tank n i culdnt change his water everyday becos i wld be in kl. and as everyone-noes-who wuldnt allow me to grant a bigger home for it, i had to finally give him a home elsewhere.
i brot him to the lake in the park dats jst outside of one utama bcos my coll fren had told me there were loads of turtles in d lake there. and true enough.
they were jst everywhere! i was skipping all around the banks snapping my camera away for ten minutes.

haha lotsa 18sx stuff involved. u wld prob be thinking how wld jin still dare to kiss me after dis. haha well love conquers all obstacles.
finally it was time to go.
after he had plopped into the water, he jst disappeared for a while n at first i was quite worried dat mebe it was too deep for him or sthing. den he suddenly jst appeared right nxt to where i was leaning over at the bank. n he poked his head out of the water n jst turned and looked at me for d longest time.
and i was so so heartbrokened, it was so sweet of him.
but i noe at least dat wld be so much of a better home for him. with other turtles to play with n lots of space to swim aroun n explore. n im sure turtle lovers go there once in a while n throw dem food so.

sigh at least i still haf sonny. altho hes not reli mine either, but can still walk play eat sleep together with him :)
if i dun end up as a musician i will either end up opening dat tea shop or be a pet shop keeper.

at one of the functions i went, verve suites, somewhere in damansara.
they actually had d showrooms n they were really quite exciting to see but we're not allowed to take pictures so. well i didla haha but jst better not put up.

jst only came out recently. n u noe if uve watched a movie jst a
month ago wld u want to watch it again? they should try showing older but good movies. like city of angels! :D i wld be their faithful customer if they had movies like dat.
we went on a double date with kok n kat. actually kok was d one who got d extra free 3 tickets n decided to share it with me n jin. hehe thanks so so much! it was reli fun n wonderful :)

all d food dat me n kat had bot/cooked/prepared. n ok kats mom helped with the sausages n d mah lings cos we were running late (again! dis alwiz happens when we go shopping togeda. i reli wonder why :P) btw do u noe wat r mah lings? theyre actually luncheon meat but bcos kat ALWIZ buys the mah ling brand, she decided to jst customized every luncheon meat to be called mah lings, even if theyre not mah ling branded. we were in giant n she was like "we need mah lings" and i was like "HAHAHAHAHA what in d world did u jst say??" its like creating a whole new word in her dictionary. all these lawyers. n she n her mom also actually jst picked d mah ling from d can n put it into their mouths! i was so horrified. i mean i noe theyre cooked n everything but still! it looks so gross.
kok who jst got out of work. it was actually d first time ive seen his work-spiky hair. well its nice la hahaha was jst quite shocking at first. n he was also wearing his formal shirt like how he wore at d lantern gathering -_-"
